Psilocybin-assisted therapy in Colorado Springs
Psilocybin-assisted therapy is one of the most meaningful parts of my practice.
I'm Sarah Post Massey, a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed Natural Medicine Facilitator in Training in Colorado, license NMIT.0000680.
I guide clients through preparation and integration personally, here in Colorado Springs, while the administration session itself happens at a separate, state-licensed healing center in Denver.
How the program works
Baseline
We start with assessments matched to what brought you in, so we have a clear measure of where you stand before anything else happens.
Preparation. We meet for sessions focused on your intentions, your history, and what to expect, building the groundwork for the administration day.
Administration. Your dosing session takes place at a state-licensed healing center in Denver.
Integration. We meet again afterward to make sense of the experience and repeat your assessments, so you can see what shifted against your original baseline.
How much does psilocybin-assisted therapy cost?
Packages start at $3,500, which includes the cost of your medication, provided by a state-licensed facility. A consultation comes first, so we can talk through your history and confirm this is the right path before anything is scheduled.
Who is psilocybin-assisted therapy for?
This program tends to fit you if:
You have tried conventional treatment for depression, PTSD, or persistent distress without the result you wanted
You want structured preparation and integration around the experience, not just the administration day itself
You are prepared for a multi-stage process, not a single session
You want to experience psilocybin legally with medicine from a state-licensed facility
You meet the screening criteria for Colorado's Natural Medicine program, which we can review together.

Yes, Colorado voters legalized supported psilocybin use under the state's Natural Medicine program. By working with a natural medicine healer who is a therapist providing sessions at a state-approved psilocybin healing center, it is legal in Colorado.

So far, psilocybin-assisted therapy isn’t covered by any type of insurance or Medicaid. Due to the cost of the medicine and facilities required to legally operate a psilocybin-healing center, it is not a low-cost therapy option.
